As a Counselor I am kind, experienced, resourceful, and challenging. Some of my favorite phrases are “try it on for an experiment” and “willing suspension of disbelief”.

I believe in working in the here and now, unless the past is complicating your present. I do shorter term counseling. My original training was in Gestalt and I have kept up with our growing knowledge of psychology, counseling and neuropsychology. I will be able to point out some more efficient and fun ways to get to where you want to go. I have learned much from my clients over the years.

We live in a changing world with resource depletion, and economic crises affecting our minds and spirits. I include that awareness in my individual counseling.

I see individuals and couples, heterosexual, lesbian and gay. I have a great deal of experience working with the chronically ill, the elderly and their families, depression, anxiety, and addictions. I also support clients as they explore issues of spirituality. I believe in and practice Successful Aging to enjoy the fullness of life.

I have a sliding fee scale from $40 to $80 an hour. You decide what you think is fair to pay.
